bonjour je viens d'installer linux ubuntus sur un pc de bureau donc je decouvre linux et j'ai un petit probleme car mon imprimante est raccordée a cette ordi mais je n'arrive pas a la faire fonctionner depuis mon pc portable (xp) par le reseau j'ai regardé divers forum mais la je seche

bonjour samba etait installé j'ai reussi a créer mon reseau .comme imprimante j'ai une canon bjc 8200 photo j'ai deja effectué le tuto que tu m'indique et ça ne fonctionne pas

enfaite je doit savoir a quelle niveau le problème t'apparais...
Tu n'arrive pas a reconnaitre l'imprimante sous XP ???

Quand tu est sous windows et que tu va dans favori réseau --> voir les ordi groupe de travail est ce que ton PC sous linux y est ???
Si oui que ce passe t'il si tu double click dessus ??
Si non renvoi le resultat de la commande :

quand je double clique dans voir les ordi du groupe il me demande mon nom d'utilisateur et mon mot de passe puis quand je les ais rentré j'ai deux dossiers du resau et imprimante et télécopie

Dans ces cas la c'est que tout sur ton PC linux est OK et tu doit paramétré windows pour que l'imprimante qui est la soit reconnu (regarde dans Imprimante et télécopie)...
Après je suis pas/plu expert windows moi... Donc je sais plus trop comment faire...

quand dans xp je vais pour installer une imprimante dans la recherche de l'imprimante il trouve l'ordi avec linux mais pas l'imprimante

Fait le et théoriquement sa marchera sans problème...
PS : Pour info les commandes il faut les taper soit dans la console soit dans un terminal

dans le lien que tu m'a donné je passe par samba bien qu'il dise que c'est moins conseillé

et je voudrais encore poser une questions dans le smb.conf que je dois modifier je rajoute les lignes ou je modifie celles qui sont deja ecrite

Bah si la l'option est écrite avec une valeur différente tu modifie la valeur et si elle n'est pas écrit tu la rajoute...
