Bonjour à tous,
voici j'expose mon problème
je désire installer snort, bon pour le moment tout va bien je télécharge le tar.gz sur le site officiel. La décompression se passe bien..mais je veux utiliser mon snort avec une base de données sql. Donc en configurant snort je mets l'option:
./configure --with-mysql=usr/lib/mysql <<< ce fichier existe bien
mais à la fin de la configuration il me met une erreur
"ERROR: unable to find mysql headers (mysql.h)
checked in the following places" et plus rien d'autres
j'ai vérifié si mes packages sql étaient bien installés
je me suis donc baladé sur le net à la recherche du problème, j'ai vu la possibilité qu'il manquait mysql-devel. Je l'ai donc téléchargé mais il me demandait plein de dépendances. Je n'ai pas su trouver rtld(GNU_HASH), pour rpm.pbone.net ce paquetage correspond à glibc-2.4-8mdv2007.1.i586.rpm. Mais je n'arrive à installer celui ci car il entre en conflit avec une autre version qui utilise des processus, donc je ne peux pas remplacer l'ancienne version.
donc qu'est ce que vous pensez de tout ça ?
pouvez vous m'aider à utiliser snort avec une base sql ?

à mon avis les dev ne sont pas où tu indiques

t'as essayé le "lien symbolique" ? (ln -s)

bon je me suis débrouillé, en fait le fichier mysql.h était autre part il a fallu juste le déplacer,
mais quand je configure snort avec
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/
j'ai cette nouvelle erreur la à la fin:
programmatic interface to dynamic link loader not found. cannot use dynamic plugin librairies
qu'est ce que cela veut dire..??je n'arrive pas à saisir la, le syslog n'écrit rien et je commence à avoir le cerveau un peu...

google -> ton erreurs te donne des aides avec des gens qui ont eut le même problème que toi.

J'avais déjà mais le seul truc que j'ai trouvé c'est sur le forum de snort où ils ont ce problème et qu'ils n'ont pas trop règler..
si tu as une adresse, cela mintéresserait

j'ai résolu mon problème tout seul comme un grand
j'ai téléchargé une version complète de mysql
http://mysql.oss.eznetsols.org/Downloads/MySQL-5.0/
je l'ai configuré compilié et installé
puis la configuration de snort s'est toute seule après ça

Re,
décidemment j'ai du mal avec ce "cochon"
j'ai suivi ce tutorial "installguide" téléchargeable sur:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=103348
et tout va bien jusqu'à ce que la page 15 , j'ai bien l'écran signalant du trafic mais les jauges de trafic sont nulles,
pourtant quand je lance en mode console snort -vde par exemple ça fuse...
donc je ne comprend pas
en fait j'ai modifié le fichier /etc/rc.local
j'ai ajouté la ligne suivante:
/usr/local/bin/snort -c /etc/snort/snort.conf -i eth0 -g snort -D
comme ça snort s'éxécute dès le démarrage de la machine en petit démon.
pourtant je ne le vois pas dans les processus (ps -aux), donc j'ai tapé cette commande directement dans une console et je le vois toujours pas dans les processus..bref
Mon objectif est que snort envoie ses infos (event, alert...) à une base de données Mysql et que celle-ci envoie ces résultats à l'interface BASE accessible par localhost/base
En fait j'arrive à avoir avoir la page main de BASE mais les "jauges" de trafic sont nulles, pourtant j'ai bien renseigné le fichier de configuration de BASE.
Peut être encore un problème avec mysql ? Pourtant on dirait que ça marche de ce côté
