I'd like to be fast to read. I'm not what I can consider as slow but I'm not fast enough (I'm about three times slower in english than in french)

I can easily speak english if the vocabular is not too difficult (if I had to speak about the reproduction of species, I would be very bad)

But I write rather fast to my mind.

yes, I didn't remember of the word "improve". So I tried to take another one.

Strength means "force" so strengthen means "renforcer"

I can read slow to normal.

My problem is the understanding in conferences or songs.

one advise to improve your english : always have a Collins Cobuild english language dictionary !! It's a very very useful tool !!!!

I can see some little errors in your english ;)

First, juste say "English is very important" and don't say "the english ..."

Be also careful with the word "since". If there is this word you're almost sure that you have to use present perfect.

But here you have to say "I have been learning it very seriously FOR some years"
